Avallore was founded in 2025 by graphic designer Miranda Holland Close in Sydney, Australia out of a passion for all things medieval fantasy. The brand was inspired by history, mythology and fantasy media, as well as the desire to create something lasting and timeless by hand. What began as a casual hobby quickly became a passion for transforming the idea of traditional protective and practical chain mail into delicate, wearable and evocative jewellery and accessories, that hint to a time and place long lost. 

Each piece is woven by hand with love and care, using techniques that date back centuries - reimagined in a contemporary sense for the modern world. The idea that the pieces we create and wear are a direct link to a time, place and even a person wearing something made the same way thousands of years ago, is so incredible and unique.
